Project Manager – Renewable Energy (PV & Battery Storage)

A fast-growing renewable energy company is looking for an experienced Project Manager to support the successful delivery of commercial and industrial photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage (BESS) projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation operating at the forefront of the energy transition. You will manage complex renewable energy projects from development through commissioning, working closely with technical teams, contractors, utilities, and key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate combines strong project coordination skills with technical understanding and a hands-on approach to delivering high-quality energy infrastructure projects.
About the Role
As Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of renewable energy projects, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage project risks, and support the continued growth of the company’s renewable energy portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the delivery of photovoltaic and battery storage projects across all project phases
* Coordinate project timelines, budgets, resources, and quality requirements
* Support technical planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities
* Act as the main point of contact for internal teams, contractors, utilities, and external partners
* Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, and escalations
* Support grid connection processes and technical acceptance procedures
* Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and technical standards
* Prepare project reporting, documentation, and stakeholder updates
* Contribute to process improvements and project management best practices
* Collaborate closely with engineering, commercial, and operations teams
Candidate Profile
* Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, Project Management, or a related field
* Several years of experience managing renewable energy, infrastructure, or construction projects
* Knowledge of photovoltaic systems, battery storage, or electrical infrastructure
* Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary stakeholders
* Understanding of grid connection processes and renewable energy project execution
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
* Familiarity with project management tools and ERP systems
* Commercial awareness and budget management experience
* Excellent communication skills and proactive mindset
* Fluent German language skills (written and spoken)
