Internship in Mechatronics

From September 1st, 2026, we are looking for an apprentice as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) at DB Cargo AG in Seelze. The vocational school is located in Neustadt am Rübenberge. The workshop is located in Hannover-Nordstadt.
During your internship, you will become a professional for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of our locomotives and freight wagons and ensure that our freight trains are always ready for operation.
* Your focus will be on electronic systems.
* During your internship, you will also get to know modern hard- and software components, including programming, installation and testing.
* You will learn to create fault and failure diagnoses during your internship.
* We will also teach you how to expertly repair defects.
Requirements:
* Completed education
* Proficiency in German language at least B2 level
* Interest in machines and technology
* Special talent for math and physics
* Reliability and teamwork
* Attention to detail and willingness to help out
