The successful candidate will oversee complex defense projects, ensuring that technical, financial, and schedule objectives are met while coordinating with cross-functional engineering and defense teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage defense-related projects with a focus on surface-to-air missile systems and launch platformsCoordinate technical teams across mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering disciplinesDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.Serve as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholdersEnsure compliance with defense regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance protocolsProvide technical guidance and decision-making support in system integration, testing, and deployment phasesPrepare and deliver reports, technical documentation, and presentations to senior management and government representativesWAS SIE MITBRINGEN SOLLTENBachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldProven experience in project management within the defense or aerospace sector, preferably with missile or launcher systemsStrong knowledge of surface-to-air missile technologies, launchers, and system integrationFamiliarity with defense standards, regulations, and certification processesExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar)Security clearance (or eligibility to obtain one) is highly desirableStärken und Erfahrungen zählen bei Rheinmetall, auch wenn vielleicht nicht alle aufgeführten Anforderungen vollständig erfüllt sind.
