My client is seeking a creative and forward-thinking Industrial Designer to join their innovative product development team focused on shaping the future of cycling. In this role, you’ll design highly functional, visually compelling accessories that integrate seamlessly with a premium electric bicycle lineup.
From early concept to final production, you’ll contribute to user-centered designs that enhance the riding experience and align with a strong, evolving brand. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for cycling, a sharp eye for design trends, and a drive to turn ideas into impactful, manufacturable products.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with cross-functional international teams including engineering, product management, and marketing to develop intuitive, stylish accessories.
* Visualize and develop concepts through sketches, detailed renderings, and final production-ready designs.
* Build precise 3D CAD models to clearly communicate design intent and support development workflows.
* Conduct market and user research to stay ahead of trends and identify innovation opportunities.
* Work directly with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure design feasibility, cost-efficiency, and production quality.
* Participate in design reviews and prototyping to refine aesthetics, ergonomics, and usability.
* Support user testing and feedback loops to continuously improve product performance and experience.
* Manage multiple design projects in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Requirements
* Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related discipline (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
* Minimum 3 years of experience designing consumer products, ideally in mobility or sporting goods.
* Proficient in Handsketching, Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, KeyShot. Familiarity with emerging tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney) is a plus.
* Solid understanding of the end-to-end design process—from ideation to manufacturing.
* Excellent team collaboration, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong interest in cycling; experience with e-bikes and/or cycling accessories is advantageous.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
