Your Tasks
* Own the full sales cycle: from identifying opportunities, understanding customer needs, preparing solutions, creating offers, to closing deals and managing follow-up.
* Support and grow our global customer base, focusing on defense and offshore industry markets.
* Build lasting relationships with customers and partners worldwide.
* Conduct regular on-site and virtual meetings with potential and existing clients, leads, and sales partners to develop new business opportunities.
* Participate in tender processes, contributing to technical and commercial offer preparation.
* Act as the bridge between customers and engineering, ensuring customer requirements are understood and translated into technical solutions.
* Support marketing initiatives, including refreshing website content, preparing presentations, creating product materials, and contributing to social media presence.
* Identify opportunities to expand our service and product portfolio to meet market needs and strengthen customer loyalty.
* Stay on top of industry trends, researching short-, mid-, and long-term opportunities in markets such as defense, subsea, surveillance, and offshore applications.
* Plan and manage trade show participation—from preparation to execution and follow-up.
* Represent the company with professionalism and technical credibility at customer visits, conferences, and events.
Your Profile
* A sales-driven professional with a strong technical foundation - ideally in defense systems, underwater communication, maritime technology, sensor systems, or related fields.
* Hands-on personality who enjoys working closely with engineers and is comfortable in small-company environments with limited fixed structures.
* Ability to understand complex technical products and explain them clearly to customers.
* A team player who can also work independently and take ownership.
* Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
* Fluent in German and English; Additional languages are a plus.
* Willingness to relocate / onboard in Hamburg for approx. one year to closely integrate with our team and technology.
* Willingness to travel (approx. 30%) for global customer meetings, events, and trade shows.
* Experience in bidding, tendering, or government/defense environments is an advantage.
