About the role:This role will be responsible for driving the profitability of the PMMA Resins and Compounding businesses by owning the demand forecast, pricing strategy, and margin performance. The successful candidates will act as the cross-functional leader who aligns Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance to execute the commercial strategy and deliver on business targets.Business Performance OwnershipOwn margin delivery and revenue performance for assigned product linesManage product-level P&L levers including price, mix, and supply allocationTrack and explain forecast vs. actual performance; identify corrective actionsPartner with Finance on budget, variance analysis, and quarterly outlooks Forecast and Commercial PlanningOwn the consensus demand forecast (volume and price) in collaboration with Sales and Demand ManagerReview and challenge assumptions to ensure realism and market alignmentLead communication of forecast risks, upsides, and changes to leadershipMonitor forecast accuracy and implement improvement actions Pricing and Market StrategySet and manage product pricing aligned to value, cost structure, and competitive positioningApprove pricing assumptions submitted by Sales and enforce pricing disciplineTrack market dynamics and recommend strategic price moves to protect or grow marginPartner with Sales on deal strategy and customer negotiation support Portfolio and Cross-Functional LeadershipLead product strategy across lifecycle stages—growth, maturity, and rationalizationAlign internal stakeholders/BMT (Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations) on priorities and actionsDrive decisions on supply allocation, customer/product segmentation, and trade-offs New Product Development and InnovationIdentify market needs and define product concepts, including sustainability-driven solutionsOwn commercial input in the stage-gate process, including business case and go-to-market strategyPartner with R&D, Operations, and Marketing to execute successful launchesTrack early-stage performance and adjust positioning to ensure adoption and profitability Bachelor degree (preferably in engineering, chemicals)Minimum 5 years of experience preferably in plastics industry, Product management (preferably producing industry), Finance (controlling), Supply chainKnowledge in project management, Good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Good analytical skills, Self-motivated. Ability to lead cross functional teams.Languages: English (mandatory), Italian preferred with other languages as a plus.
