As part of our newly approved Global OrgChart, we are looking for 2 experienced Professional Test Drivers to join the CTF EU team. This role plays a critical part in evaluating vehicle and bus performance, ensuring product readiness, and supporting quality validation activities.
Position Responsibilities
* Inspect and verify the condition of vehicles/buses and attached materials using standard checklists before and after each shift
* Drive test vehicles/buses to evaluate performance, competitiveness, and customer readiness
* Achieve target mileage per testing standards and project gate requirements
* Simulate real customer usage scenarios based on market insights and real-world driving conditions
* Prepare detailed evaluation reports and document identified issues
* Identify engineering-related issues, capture logs, and collect relevant test data
* Perform basic vehicle/bus preparation (software updates, configurations, health checks)
* Conduct competitor bench-marking and performance comparison
* Support team operations between driving cycles
* Perform light maintenance and minor repairs when required
Requirements
* Valid EU driving license (Category D required)
* Work location: Frankfurt – Offenbach am Main, Germany
* Minimum 5 years of professional on-road test driving experience across multiple OEMs (including bus OEMs)
* Technical College graduate or higher in Automotive Engineering, Mechanics, Electrical, or related fields
* Clean driving record with advanced and defensive driving skills
* Strong understanding of customer behavior, market expectations, and vehicle competitiveness
* Excellent analytical, reporting, presentation, and problem-solving skills
* Flexible to work various shifts and eager to learn new skills
* Experience with Data Acquisition Systems is a strong plus

Requirements
Position Requirements: Education/ Professional knowledge: Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineer or equivalent work experience (15+ years) with solid knowledge in complete vehicle & benchmark assessment. Experience in wide portfolio of markets, knowledge of differences in terms of vehicle specifications and linkage to the development needs. Solid background for the detailed vehicle assessment for complex attributes like Vehicle dynamics, or vehicle Performance & Customer experience Skill, Experience: Prefer Vietnamese candidate Experience in driving event, vehicle benchmark for complete vehicle assessment Excellent communication skills. Autonomous working capacity. Flexibility to travel (>30% of the time) Expert driving skills Experience in vehicle development & problem solving, interaction with Engineering modules. Background about the main regulatory aspects of the vehicles for the different markets.
