We are seeking a high-calibre Mechanical Project Manager to join a leading contractor in Dresden. This role is pivotal in delivering complex mechanical scopes safely, on time, and to the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Leadership: Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closeout, leading the site management team (Engineers, Supervisors, and Subcontractors).
* Planning & Execution: Develop constructibility reports, schedules, and work scopes while coordinating with workshop teams for prefabrication.
* Safety & Quality: Take day-to-day responsibility for H&S and QA/QC compliance, ensuring all works meet technical specifications.
* Commercial Management: Oversee cost control, variations, and subcontract awards in collaboration with Quantity Surveyors.
* Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering regular progress reports and attending site meetings.
Requirements
* Experience: At least 5 years as a Senior Mechanical/Project Engineer with a proven track record in Project Management.
* Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
* Qualifications: PMP or IPMA certification is highly advantageous.
* Skills: Strong negotiation, high attention to detail, and the ability to make decisive actions in fast-paced environments.
