Senior Commercial Project Manager – Renewable Energy
Are you an experienced Commercial Project Manager looking for an opportunity to work on large-scale renewable energy projects? Our client, a global leader in the wind energy sector, is seeking a motivated professional to manage the financial and commercial aspects of their wind farm construction projects in the Europe (Germany, Netherlands, Austria).
As part of a dynamic and fast-paced team, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful financial execution of projects, acting as the interface between project teams and key departments such as Accounting, Controlling, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and Insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take full commercial responsibility for projects during the implementation phase
* Oversee cost control, financial planning, and cash flow management
* Identify and manage risks and opportunities within the project lifecycle
* Handle invoicing, receivables, and insurance claims
* Manage customer and subcontractor relationships from a financial and contractual perspective
* Contract management and enforcement of financial claims
* Provide feedback and insights to sales, legal, and tender management teams
Your Profile:
* A degree in economics, finance, or a related field
* At least 3 years of experience in commercial project management, ideally in the wind energy or construction sector
* Fluent German and strong English skills
* Experience with SAP is a plus
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills
* A project management certification is advantageous
