Operations Supervisor
We are seeking a hands-on and committed Operations Supervisor to oversee production teams and drive operational excellence in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
* Supervise and coach production operators during shift operations to ensure smooth production processes.
* Develop team versatility to adapt to changing customer and production needs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Promote and monitor safe work behaviors, ensuring compliance with safety rules and regulations.
* Provide leadership and direction to foster ownership, responsibility, and skill development among team members.
* Deploy Lean tools and promote Lean thinking across the team to enhance efficiency and productivity.
* Support the team in achieving quality, yield, and volume targets in collaboration with Learning & Development.
* Lead improvement actions to reduce customer claims and enhance performance through data-driven decision making.
* Detect deviations, anticipate issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and track progress to ensure optimal results.
* Bachelor's degree or technical qualification in mechanical or industrial fields.
* 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of success.
* Willingness to work in a 3-shift rotation (3x8) schedule.
* Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory, and process control principles.
* LEAN mindset and experience with continuous improvement tools, such as Kaizen events and Root Cause Analysis.
* Excellent analytical and leadership skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive change.
* Strong communication skills in English and French, with German being a strong asset.
