Your Mission As the company transitions into a matrix organization, you will lead the planning and delivery of large-scale space programs with full accountability for budgets, timelines, and technical milestones. You will act as the strategic link between engineering, policy, and international partners, ensuring mission success for the next generation of European space infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end execution of large-scale ESA and EU-funded missions such as Galileo, Copernicus, or Horizon Europe. Synchronize multidisciplinary teams across engineering, science, and industry partners to ensure seamless delivery. Manage complex project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to meet critical milestones. Ensure strict adherence to ESA/EUSPA regulations and international export-control requirements. Perform proactive risk management and track performance against short- and long-term strategic goals. Manage high-level relationships with customers, vendors, and institutional stakeholders across Europe. Your Profile We are looking for a strategic thinker and persuasive negotiator who brings extreme ownership to complex programs. Must-Haves 10+ years of project management experience specifically within the European space sector. Successful delivery of large ESA or EU-funded programs. Deep knowledge of ESA/EUSPA grant mechanisms and export-control compliance. Native-level or C2 English is required; German is a strong asset but not mandatory. High proficiency in MS Project and standard project management software suites. Nice-to-Haves Experience within a European space prime. Technical background in systems engineering or satellite technology. Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent. Whats in it for you?
