For our client, a leading company in the semiconductor sector, we are looking for a Global Project Manager (m/f/d)-IT Transformation based in Böblingen.
Your Role:
As part of the global transformation program, you will manage strategic IT transformation projects across the organization. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading projects to ensure successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget. In addition, you will oversee project resources, monitor progress, manage risks, and maintain transparent communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
You will work closely with business functions, IT departments, and customers to ensure smooth and timely execution across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop project charters and business cases, including value and ROI analysis
* Establish project organizations and governance structures
* Define and implement target operating models
* Evaluate, select, and implement IT tools and digital solutions
* Develop and execute communication and change management plans
* Manage stabilization phases and validate project outcomes for final sign-off
* Plan and manage project budgets, timelines, resources, risks, and dependencies
* Bridge the gap between functional business teams and IT departments
* Coordinate and lead global cross-functional teams
* Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and objectives
* Travel requirement: approximately 10–20%
Your Profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field
* Proven project management experience in both waterfall and agile methodologies
* Strong knowledge of project management tools and frameworks; certifications such as PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or similar are an advantage
* Demonstrated experience managing transformation projects
* Experience in bridging the gap between functional business areas and IT departments
* Excellent planning, organizational, and coordination skills
* Proven expertise in change management
* Strong stakeholder, risk, and dependency management capabilities
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills in an international environment
* Fluent English skills, both written and spoken; German and/or Japanese language skills are a plus
* Analytical and self-driven mindset with the ability to understand technical details while managing key business stakeholders
* Experience in diversity & inclusion management
* Strong teamwork and leadership abilities with experience leading multiple cross-functional teams simultaneously
