WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Leading appointments and product edit for selected brands, building commercial yet forward thinking product selections.
* Managing the vendor relationship throughout the season.
* Negotiating best product, trading and payment terms with vendors.
* Planning and execution of seasonal buying strategy, driving sales and margin in line with department targets.
* Monitor deliveries, stock levels and in-season trading to maximize sales opportunities and minimize risk.
* Stay ahead of the mens market, identifying new trends and commercial opportunities for the department.
* Work closely with other teams communicating the buy, product information and strategic highlights to support department and customer needs.
WHO YOU ARE
* Experience at Buyer level within Menswear.
* Excellent network within the luxury industry.
* Strong negotiation and analytical skills to drive profitability.
* Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
* Open communicator and team player across an international department.
* Strong understanding of the mens market, luxury customer, and anticipating ‘what’s next’.
