Our client is a booming industrial machinery manufacturing company. They are looking for a senior German speaking manager to join the team. You will take responsibility at the intersection of development and production. As Head of Industrialization R&D (m/f/d), you will play a key role in driving innovation, industrialization, and cross-functional collaboration across departments.
We are currently seeking to fill the position of:.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide support to internal departments such as Service, Quality Management (QM), or Application Engineering
* Lead industrialization efforts in close collaboration with Operations and Application Engineering to transition new developments into series production
* Serve as an internal consultant on cross-functional topics such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), User Experience (UX), machine safety, PLC programming, and detailed mechanical design including technical drawings
* Foster cross-departmental collaboration and develop best practices for Support, Industrialization, and In-house Consulting
* Drive team development and the implementation of new technologies and methodologies
* Coordinate and prioritize projects and requests in line with overall business goals
* Act as a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders
Your Profile
* Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or a comparable field
* Several years of experience leading interdisciplinary teams, ideally in a research and development environment
* In-depth expertise in at least one of the core areas: Support, Industrialization, or In-house Consulting
* Proven experience in implementing and improving development processes
* Knowledge of PLC programming, machine safety, and mechanical design is an advantage
* Strong initiative, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset
* Ability to structure and resolve complex technical challenges while driving innovation
* Fluent in German and English (business proficiency)
