The SciNova team are looking to speak with Senior Software Leaders for a newly created, greenfield role with an international MedTech organisation HQ'd in Bavaria. You'll be responsible for leading the planning and execution of SW/Application programmes for one of their most successful BU's.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong project management capabilities with a solid developer background who is also comfortable managing multiple priorities, driving projects through ambiguity, and establishing effective processes that enable teams to scale and succeed.

Role responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate software development projects from initiation through release.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, and issues while ensuring timely resolution.
• Facilitate project meetings, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure software development activities comply with applicable quality and regulatory requirements - MDR, FDA, ISO 13485, SaMD etc.
• Support development teams in defining priorities, managing scope, and achieving project milestones.
• Navigate complex and evolving requirements while maintaining project momentum and focus.
• Balance multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Role requirements:

• Degree educated in an Engineering discipline - Software, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical etc.
• Proven experience managing multiple complex software development projects/programs simultaneously.
• Previous hands-on experience working as a Developer using C++ is essential.
• Experience working within the medical device industry is highly desirable.
• Experience working effectively in ambiguous environments where requirements may evolve over time.
• Fluent English and Proficient German.
