We are currently looking for: Sales Manager Automotive (m/f/d) in Munich

Inova Semiconductors is a pioneer in high-speed data transmission and smart lighting solutions for the automotive sector. In Munich, we develop high-tech solutions for current and future infotainment and ADAS systems as well as ambient and dynamic interior lighting - with a team that thinks visionarily, works ambitiously and lives short decision-making paths.

With APXpress, Inova is building the backbone for future zonal vehicle architectures. To accelerate adoption in Japan and Korea, we are looking for an experienced sales leader who can open doors, build strategic customer relationships and turn technology into design wins.

To strategically grow our business in APAC - with a particular focus on Japan and Korea - we are looking for an experienced sales personality who understands technology, develops customer relationships strategically and consistently drives design wins.

We work in a focused, solution-oriented and international environment. You are not joining a mature sales organization with predefined playbooks. You will actively shape how Inova expands its footprint in Japan and Korea. Ideas do not disappear in management layers. Sales, Product Management and Executive Management work closely together, enabling fast decisions and rapid execution. You act globally, work closely with sales and distribution partners, members of the ISELED Alliance, OEMs and internal technology teams, and actively shape the market success of our products.

We operate with high standards of quality, innovation and collaboration. A professional demeanor, openness and respectful interaction are essential to us. You communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders and know how to build strong relationships with customers and partners.

Because we operate in a technologically demanding and forward-looking environment, you should enjoy continuously familiarizing yourself with new topics. We are looking for people who think proactively, contribute ideas and want to drive solutions for the mobility of tomorrow together with us.

Your future responsibilities as Sales Manager Automotive (m/f/d)

  • Expanding business with existing customers
  • Closing design-wins at selected new target customers for the entire product portfolio (Display-link/APIX; light networks/ISELED & IlaS; SerDes sensor-link/APXpress)
  • Work with sales/distribution partners, ISELED-alliance members and OEM in parallel
  • Introduction and promotion of applications and benefits of INOVA product portfolio at customers and car manufacturers
  • Expand customer base and increase market share remarkably
  • Global market responsibility
  • Promotion activities (exhibitions, conferences, website)
  • Support revenue forecast and sales budget planning
  • Contract negotiations and settlement of business agreements
  • Budgetary quotations
  • Product Management

To feel comfortable in this role and grow successfully with us, you bring the following

  • Degree in economics or in a technical field
  • Experience in semiconductors and/or automotive systems
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B-Sales and product management
  • Proven track record in sales
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to learn fast
  • Commercial sense
  • Positive and open attitude
  • Team-oriented style of work
  • Excellent communication and intercultural skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • MS-office, ERP, CRM experience
  • Fluent in German and English
