Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager Mid-Market (New Business Focus) to drive net-new customer acquisition within the upper mid-sized business segment. This is a pure hunter role. You will identify, qualify, and develop new opportunities and route them into Supermicros authorized partner ecosystem for execution and closing. You act as the front-end sales owner, creating demand, positioning Supermicro solutions, and enabling partners to win.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Proactively identify, develop, and qualify net-new mid-market customers.
2. Drive new business pipeline creation and route qualified opportunities to the appropriate channel partners.
3. Position Supermicros server, storage, and networking solutions to business and technical decision-makers.
4. Serve as the primary interface between end customers and Supermicros partner ecosystem.
5. Support partners throughout the sales cycle with solution positioning, technical alignment, and commercial guidance.
6. Collaborate closely with internal teams (channel, pre-sales, logistics) to ensure smooth opportunity handover.
7. Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and CRM hygiene.
8. Represent Supermicro at customer meetings, partner events, and industry events.
9. Travel within Germany as required.
Qualifications:
10. 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management in IT infrastructure, hardware, or technology solutions.
11. Strong new business / hunter mindset with a proven track record of winning net-new customers.
12. Strong network into Mid-Market (Mittelstand und gehobener Mittelstand)
13. Solid experience working with channel partners, system integrators, and resellers.
14. Ability to engage credibly with C-level executives, IT leadership, and technical stakeholders.
15. Structured, self-driven working style with excellent opportunity qualification skills.
16. Experience using CRM systems and strong Microsoft Office skills.
17. Fluent German (C2) and professional English (minimum B1).
18. Knowledge of servers, data centers, cloud, or infrastructure solutions is a strong plus.
