Your role in our team:
* Take full responsibility within the Electronics commodity for a defined sub-cluster throughout the entire product lifecycle (project phase, serial production, and after-sales)
* Manage all strategic purchasing activities in line with the global Electronics strategy and in close collaboration with internal stakeholders across CLAAS
* Work in daily cross-functional cooperation with engineering, quality, logistics, and project teams
* Independently prepare and conduct purchasing negotiations, including the conclusion of contracts and framework supply agreements
* Support the achievement of Cost, Quality and Delivery (C-Q-D) targets in development projects through the early involvement of high-performing suppliers
* Monitor, evaluate and actively steer supplier performance
* Continuously observe and analyze market developments to identify risks and opportunities.
Your profile
* Successfully completed a degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
* Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, including solid knowledge of contract law
* Strong project management skills and high technical affinity, particularly in the electronics domain
* Extensive negotiation experience and confident in discussions
* Strong entrepreneurial and analytical thinking, combined with an independent, flexible, and structured way of working
* Confident communication at internal and external management levels
* Experience working in interdisciplinary and intercultural environments
* Strong communicator and team player with business-fluent English; French skills are an advantage
* Proficient in MS Office and SAP
* Willingness to travel as required.
