Webmentix GmbH is seeking an experienced Senior Test Lead – STARLIMS to support a strategic TCOE setup and core transformation initiative within a highly regulated Life Sciences environment.
This role requires deep expertise in LIMS validation, GxP compliance, and end-to-end testing within pharmaceutical or life sciences organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end testing and validation of the STARLIMS Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
* Ensure configured workflows, business rules, interfaces, reports, and security settings align with regulatory and operational requirements
* Drive validation activities including OQ/PQ and Computer System Validation (CSV)
* Review Business Requirements (BRD), User Requirements (URD), and Functional Specifications to design comprehensive test strategies
* Design and review detailed test cases aligned to business processes
* Conduct defect triage meetings and drive resolution management
* Implement risk-based testing approaches in regulated environments
* Oversee test planning, estimation, execution, and quality assurance deliverables
* Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including business users, configuration teams, developers, and validation teams
* Travel to nearby sites as required
Required Skills and Experience:
Primary Skills:
* STARLIMS (or other LIMS platforms)
* GxP Compliance
* Validation Testing (OQ/PQ, CSV)
Secondary Skills:
* Hands-on experience with ALM tools (JIRA, HP ALM, or equivalent)
* Life Sciences / Pharma domain expertise
Experience Requirements:
* 15+ years of software testing experience
* 10+ years within regulated environments (Life Sciences / Pharma)
* Strong experience in STLC processes and QA methodologies
* Expertise in validation documentation and compliance frameworks
* Proven leadership in test strategy, planning, and cross-functional coordination
* Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Medicine, or related field (Mandatory)
Master's Degree preferred
Eligibility & Work Model:
* Hybrid model – Minimum 3 days onsite in Marburg
* Right to work in Germany required
