Your Team As part of our dynamic sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth in the Southern Germany sales area by building and maintaining strong customer relationships in the Coatings, Construction and Adhesives (CCA) business area. On the basis of a sound technical understanding of our performance additives (including for paints and coatings, printing inks, construction chemicals and adhesives), you will identify and qualify projects, steer them through the pipeline in a disciplined manner and bring them to a successful conclusion. At the same time, you will provide structured market and customer impulses to product management and R&D. Your Tasks Development and expansion of the business in the sales area of southern Germany by acquiring new customers as well as maintaining and further developing existing relationships. Conducting technical sales talks (Tech Talks) to identify customer requirements, unmet needs and to position our CCAPortfolio. Translation of customer requirements into qualified projects, technical application studies, sample requests and application tests. Development and active management of a CRM‑supported sales pipeline, including StageGate control, prioritization and consistent follow‑up‑until decision. Increase project‑conversion‑ through disciplined opportunity management and targeted use of samples and technical services. Regular customer visits and virtual meetings, including the creation of visit reports, forecasting and continuous maintenance of up‑to‑date CRM data. Close cooperation with application engineering, product management, supply chain and R&D, including feedback on market trends, competitive activities and customer needs. Your Profile Successfully completed degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a comparable natural science, as well as an alternative recognized qualification as a state‑certified Technician (m/f/d) in the field of Paint and Coating Technology At least 3 years of experience in sales or closely related functions (marketing, product management) with a demonstrable customer success history Experience in at least one of the following market segments: paints and coatings (architectural, decorative, industrial), construction chemicals, printing inks, adhesives or in the distribution of special additives (defoamers, dispersants, thickeners, surface treatment additives, etc.) in the mentioned market segments; technical experience in one of these markets or product lines is not required but will be considered a benefit Practice in the marketing of technical products including customer training on the correct application Friendly and committed communication style, negotiation skills at different hierarchical levels Structured, self‑motivated way of working with a strong ability to work in a team Willingness to travel > 50 %, incl. multi‑day trips and regular visits to our headquarters in Abstatt The position requires regular presence with our customers in southern Germany 30 days of vacation + additional MÜNZING vacation days JobRad (bike leasing) and free charging stations for your electric vehicle Long‑term working time account Childcare allowance Flexible working time models to support a healthy work–life balance Financial and personal support for part‑time further education Comprehensive and personalized onboarding Attractive development opportunities through diverse (project) tasks We look forward to receiving your application documents in English (CV and cover letter). #J-18808-Ljbffr
