As an Inside Account Manager for the Public Sector, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with public customers, driving sales of Lenovo products and services, and supporting strategic projects in close collaboration with field sales and partner teams. This role is based in Essen (or nearby) and offers a hybrid work model.



Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and grow relationships with public sector customers, promoting Lenovo’s full portfolio of products and services.
2. Identify new project opportunities and create tailored proposals to meet customer needs.
3. Support and coordinate tender processes (Ausschreibungen) together with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Collaborate closely with field sales, support teams, and partner networks to ensure customer success.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the CRM system, including forecasts and pipeline management.
6. Drive achievement of individual and team sales targets within assigned territory or account base.
7. Monitor market trends and customer developments in the public sector to identify new business opportunities.
8. Celebrate success together with your team as you achieve goals and deliver outstanding customer results.



Position Requirements

9. Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
10. Proven interest or initial experience in sales, account management, or customer service.
11. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple customer requests simultaneously.
12. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction.
13. Fluent German and good English language skills (written and spoken).
14. Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CRM systems Salesforce) is a plus.
15. Team-oriented mindset with motivation to work in a collaborative, international environment.
16. Residence ideally in or near Essen; occasional travel may be required.
