Position Title: HR Business Partner
Location: Remote with weekly travel to site in Lüneburg (1-2 per week), occasionally to site in Nienburg (every other week)
Position Overview
The Regional HR Business Partner supports cross-regional operations (~300+ employees) by delivering strategic HR services, partnering with leadership, and executing workforce initiatives. This role independently manages complex employee relations, labour issues, and HR programs across multiple sites.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Serve as the lead advisor on complex employee and labour relations matters, ensuring compliance and resolution through objective investigations.
2. Partner with leaders to implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, including performance management and change initiatives.
3. Support employee development through career planning, internal mobility, and targeted retention efforts.
4. Collaborate with HR functional experts to optimize and localize recruiting, training, compensation, and benefits programs.
5. Guide and implement HR policies and procedures to improve workforce effectiveness and compliance.
6. Analyze workforce data to identify trends, recommend solutions, and support decision-making.
7. Lead or contribute to regional HR projects impacting multiple business functions.
Minimum Requirements
8. Minimum 4+ years of HR experience
9. Strong knowledge of German labour law including experience with work councils and German national labour agreements (Tarifvertrag)
10. Fluent in English and German language
11. Proven experience handling complex employee relations and advising on labour issues.
12. Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Requirements
13. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
14. Experience supporting multiple locations or unionized environments.
15. Background in leading HR initiatives across cross-functional teams.
16. Knowledge of regional labour laws and HR compliance.
17. Comfortable navigating organizational change and ambiguity.
