Account Manager Germany (m/f/d)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Take full ownership of account management: maintain, strengthen, and expand existing customer relationships. Drive sales performance by developing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet established targets. Conduct regular client meetings and business reviews.
* Define and recommend optimal product assortments for each account in close coordination with the product and sales teams to unlock full potential.
* Introduce new product lines, pricing structures, and merchandising strategies to partners. Present seasonal collections, manage order collection, and closely track local sell-in, sell-through, and inventory levels.
* Lead seasonal forecasting and contribute to long-term (3-year) product and client planning, with involvement in seasonal marketing initiatives.
* Analyze order data, market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to support data-driven strategic decisions.
* Prepare and generate system reports to support seasonal sell-in, collaborating closely with the broader DACH Sales Team.
* Serve as a brand ambassador by upholding and promoting Birkenstock’s values, standards, and communication at every customer touchpoint.
* Deliver product training to retail partners, ensuring product knowledge and brand alignment.
* Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders such as Finance, Customer Service, Product, Logistics, and Brand Management.
* Manage administrative tasks efficiently to support seamless processes within the region.
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
* 2–3 years experience in account management, preferably in fashion, footwear, or lifestyle
* Strong sales instincts and deep market know-how
* Confident presenter and negotiator with excellent communication skills (in English and German)
* Analytical mindset and data-driven (Excel, PowerPoint, SAP)
* Self-starter who’s flexible, proactive, and ready to make things happen
* Collaborative team player with a driver’s license and willingness to travel
