We are looking for an experienced and motivated Production Manager Food & Pharmacutical Manufacturing (m/f/d) to ensure compliant, efficient, and timely manufacturing operations. You will oversee and coordinate production areas and play a key role in process optimization, employee training, and regulatory compliance in a GMP and/or IFS-regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: Production Oversight: Ensure efficient and legally compliant production processes in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), IFS, and other relevant standards. Coordination of Production Areas: Manage and coordinate production teams including raw material processing, softgel encapsulation, drying, sorting, and packaging. Production Scheduling: Guarantee on-time manufacturing to meet delivery deadlines and production targets. Documentation & Procedures: Actively contribute to the creation and revision of SOPs and work instructions in collaboration with the Operational Excellence Manager. Employee Training: Develop and implement training plans, including employee instruction, documentation, and effectiveness checks. Quality Management: Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) related to customer complaints and inspection findings. Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvement measures in cooperation with cross-functional teams; support procurement of production equipment. Process Validation: Participate in the introduction and validation of new processes and technologies. Compliance & Communication: Ensure adherence to all regulatory and internal policies, and facilitate effective communication across departments. Operational Supervision: Monitor work execution, verify results, and initiate corrective measures as needed. Recruitment Support: Assist in recruiting new team members in close cooperation with the HR department, aligned with staffing plans and budget constraints. Your Profile: Education: D egree in Food Technology, Pharmacy, Chemistry or equivalent technical or scientific training (e.g. Technician, Master Craftsman) Professional Experience: Proven leadership experience in a production environment in a multinational company environment, ideally within the food or pharmaceutical industry (e.g. as a shift). Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of relevant manufacturing regulations, like GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and/or IFS Digital Skills: Proficient in MS Office and experienced with ERP systems Preferred Skills: Strong knowledge of KPIs, occupational safety, and quality management systems.
