The Opportunity
We are spinning out a Case Distribution Tool from Mindpeak into an independent startup. This is a rare opportunity to build a core product in the pathology market from day one with real impact and real ownership.
The tool will help improve patient care by saving valuable time in diagnostic labs, enabling pathologists to focus on what matters most. The venture is backed by existing market validation, first customers, and close ties to Mindpeak. With true co-founder equity and full freedom to shape product and technology, this is a hands-on chance to turn a validated idea into a scalable, category-defining solution.
We are looking for a CTO co-founder to take ownership of the product and technology.
What already exists
* Working prototypes and click dummies
* Market validation and early customers
* €200k initial investment (from Mindpeak founders)
* Clear problem, real demand, and revenue potential
The goal
* 6 months: first sellable product (MVP), first customers
* 12 months: funded runway to scale
What You Bring
Skills:
* Strong experience in software development (full-stack)
* You have built real products before (startup, side projects, or own ventures)
* Solid understanding of software architecture and system design
* A good design and UX intuition
* Experience with APIs, integrations, and modern web/cloud stacks
* Experience with AI or data-heavy systems is a plus, not a must
Founder Mindset (Important)
* Comfortable with low salary in the early phase
* Fast, pragmatic, and action-oriented
* Willing to take responsibility and make decisions
* Able to move fast and make responsible trade-offs in ambiguous situations.
