Infotainment Product Ownwe (M/W/D)

Responsibilities
:
* Support the design and deployment of high-end connected infotainment systems
for current and future customer lifestyle vehicles.
* Own the full lifecycle of one or more infotainment features
, such as navigation, app store and third-party services, radio, media playback, smartphone integration, and voice assistant functionalities.
* Conduct benchmarking and trend analysis
, evaluating market and technological developments, and present strategic insights to leadership.
* Critically assess technical specifications and product definitions
with a focus on performance and competitiveness; identify gaps, recommend enhancements, and lead their implementation.
* Contribute to the development of product strategies and roadmaps
aligned with business and technology goals.
* Create, review, and manage product, system, and design requirements
, including handling change requests and updates.
* Collaborate closely with global customer teams
to ensure seamless integration of your product(s) into the broader smart cockpit ecosystem.
* Coordinate and guide technology partners, external suppliers, and internal teams
throughout the development process.
* Provide regular status updates
to management and program stakeholders.
* Work with internal UX/UI teams and suppliers
to deliver a premium user experience that meets customer expectations.
* Define key product attributes and validation criteria
to ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction are achieved.
* Plan and lead testing and validation activities
, including the development of test methods and standards.
* Participate in validation drives and product sign-off events
to ensure readiness and performance.
* Identify, prioritize, and resolve issues
, working collaboratively with internal teams and suppliers.
* Ensure product compliance with regional regulations and market-specific requirements
, including those in Europe and North America.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree
in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
* Minimum of 5 years of professional experience
in the infotainment domain, ideally within an automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier environment.
* Proven track record as a feature or product owner
in infotainment systems, with end-to-end responsibility.
* Strong technical expertise
in one or more infotainment areas, including: Navigation systems, Smartphone integration (Apple CarPlay / Android Auto), Media playback and streaming, Radio technologies (FM, DAB, HD Radio, SiriusXM, Hybrid Radio), Third-party services and app store integration, Telephony and connectivity, Audio systems and sound processing, Voice control and Virtual Personal Assistants (VPA), Connected services and cloud integration, User profiles and account management, Input methods and human-machine interaction
* Comprehensive understanding of the infotainment ecosystem
, with a holistic perspective on how individual components and features contribute to the overall system architecture.
* Experience with Android Automotive
is highly desirable; familiarity with
Google Built-In / Google Automotive Services (GAS)
is a strong asset.
* Proven experience in managing external suppliers
, ensuring alignment with technical and delivery expectations.
* Exposure to the full development lifecycle
of infotainment products or subsystems, from concept phase through to series production.
* Awareness of regional market requirements
for global infotainment deployments, including Europe, North America, and Asia.
* Demonstrates integrity and reliability
in all professional interactions and communications.
* Self-driven, customer-oriented, and solution-focused
, with a proactive approach to challenges.
* Organized and hands-on
, capable of working independently while maintaining a structured workflow.
* Excellent communication skills
, with an open mindset and the ability to convey complex topics clearly.
* Willing to travel occasionally
to meet suppliers, partners, visit customer sites, or support validation and test drives.
* Fluent in English
, both written and spoken.
* Holder of a valid driver's license
