* Identifying and analyzing the direct competitive environment in day-to-day business operations as well as coordinating across segments and departments with the technical sales team
* Supporting internal and external global networking in the customer and market environment
* Continuously maintaining existing customer relationships and acquiring new customers
* Planning and conducting initial meetings/presentations with potential customers
* Targeted development of accounts, including cross-selling
* Continuous maintenance of customer contacts at both technical and management levels
* Conducting and managing the sales process (especially for non-standardized inquiries) and participating in or leading negotiations with the customer
* Developing the annual business plan and creating planning and forecasts within one's own area of responsibility, deriving sales goals within the responsibility area, and defining operational, short-term sales measures
* Reporting and interpreting defined KPIs
* Taking on project management tasks for medium to large projects
Your skills that will help us to get ahead:
* Completed technical or business studies or equivalent qualification
* Several years of professional experience in sales (3-5 years), preferably in the automotive sector (or comparable B2B experience)
* Fluent English skills, also in technical areas - additional foreign languages are advantageous
* Communication and teamwork skills
* Commitment to work and self-organization
* Increased willingness to travel and driver's license Class B
* A high degree of goal-oriented, customer- and solution-oriented thinking and acting
* Knowledge of relevant IT tools (CRM, MS Office)
