Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provide operational support to all managers and employees of a defined area of responsibility
2. Monitoring and implementation of re-organization measures, transfers, contracts extensions, conversions and promotions
3. Recruitment of specialists and executives, including support in the identification of personnel requirements, leading the interview process, initiation and monitoring of assessment centers, preparation of offers
4. Advice executives and employees on questions regarding compensation, compenstaion changes and bonus payments
5. Advice executives on employess with long-term absences and support health management measures
6. Advice executives on resolving conflicts with employess and implementing disciplinary measures
7. Support and implementation of staff exits
8. Constructive and cooperative collaboration with the works council
9. Close collaboration with HR Payroll, HR Business Support, HR Business PArtners and HR Managers of all German locations
10. Supporting the implementation of a modern, internationally oriented HR strategy
11. Execution of other HR tasks as specified by Senior Manager, Human Resources, Eschweiler
12. Manage the recruitment process of specialists, executives and hourlys, including support in the identification of personnel requirements, selection of recruitment channels, screening of applications, leading the interview process, initiation and monitoring of assessment centers
13. Negotiation of job offers and preparation of employment contracts
14. Consultancy and acting as first contact point for managers and employees on questions regarding compensation, compensation changes and bonus payments
15. Strategic support of succession plannung, re-organization measures, transfers, contracts extensions, conversions and promotions
16. Consultancy of managers on employees with long-term absences and support health management measures
17. Mediate between conflict parties and support in conflict resolution
18. Implementation of disciplinary measures
19. Manage termination proceedings in accordance with current labor law
20. Representation of the organization in court proceedings concerning the area of responsibility
21. Manage and propose HR projects and initiatives independently and self-responsibly
22. Constructive and cooperative collaboration with the works council as well as negotiation of works council agreements
23. Close collaboration with HR Payroll, HR Business Support, HR Business Partners and HR Managers of all German locations
24. Execution of other HR tasks as specified by Senior Manager, Human Resources, Eschweiler
Education
Academic degree in HR or related education
Work Experience
25. Minimum 3 years HR experience or equivalent in education
26. Experience with HR business systems (i.e. Ultimate, SuccessFactors, SAP HCM) and MS Office applications would be preferred
