KG Organization Gas Services Business Unit Central Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day The role of the Project Supplier Quality Manager in a Customer project is to support the Quality Manager in Project (QMiP) and Engineer Discipline (ED) to coordinate and perform inspection and quality review of documentation within the supply chain scope of the project. Key interface is the local and global Supplier Quality Management team, Project Procurement Manager, Project Management and Engineering. Project Supplier Quality Managers are senior quality professionals with background in mechanical or electrical engineering, welding experts, or certified senior auditors. How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Representation of Supply Quality in cross-functional meetings and collaboration with Procurement, Project Management, Engineering, and Quality Management
2. Driving and continuous improvement of Supply Quality–related KPIs within projects
3. Assurance and enhancement of supplier quality in assigned projects, including implementation of SQM requirements such as preventive actions, technical specifications, and supplier qualification, as well as acting as SQM contact in cross-functional teams
4. Responsibility for supplier qualification, product and process qualification, and technical supplier development to ensure a global, quality-assured, demand-covering, and cost-effective supply base within defined commodities
5. Coordination of inspections with cross-functional teams and third-party contractors
6. Support of maintenance and continuous improvement of the Siemens Energy Supplier Quality Management System, including implementation and tracking of quality-related measures and activities
What You Bring
7. Degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering or technical field
8. Relevant professional experience in quality management, engineering, or manufacturing
9. Experience in supplier qualification; supplier auditor experience considered an advantage
10. Experience in project management, preferably in complex or large-scale project environments
11. Knowledge of quality methods such as 5 Why, FMEA, 8D, and RCA, as well as proficiency in MS Office and SAP Materials and Quality Management
12. Strong collaboration and communication skills, business-fluent English (written and spoken), and willingness to travel nationally and internationally
