Sales Manager (m/f/d) - Automotive Location: Home office Regensburg Full-time job For our client, a well-established and highly reputable automotive supplier, we are looking for a “Senior Sales Manager” to further develop key OEM accounts – with a strong focus on Volkswagen Group – and support the company’s continued growth in the German and European market. Key Responsibilities Further develop and expand key OEM accounts, especially Volkswagen Group, in close collaboration with the sales team Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the German and European automotive market Support and lead sales activities across the full sales cycle: from initial contact to negotiation and closing Drive RFQs, pricing discussions, and framework agreements together with internal stakeholders Coordinate closely with internal technical, project, and operations teams Represent the company in customer meetings, technical discussions, and industry events Monitor market trends and competitor activities Contribute to revenue growth and achievement of sales targets Qualifications & Experience Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification Several years of sales experience in the automotive industry Proven track record working directly with Volkswagen Group would be an advantage Strong understanding of OEM structures and purchasing processes Experience in selling technical automotive components and solution-oriented offerings Strong negotiation skills and confident communication style Willingness to travel as required Fluent in German and English What could be offered A senior role with strong impact in the German and European market Hybrid working model (Home Office combined with presence in Regensburg) Competitive salary package with performance-based bonus Flat hierarchies and fast decision-making processes
