Your responsibilities
* Together with the project manager, you manage projects holistically, oversee project reporting and are responsible for achieving the commercial project objectives.
* You assume full commercial responsibility during the proposal and execution phases of international projects. This includes contract, claim and risk management, budgeting and cost control, payment securities, as well as tax and insurance-related matters.
* You analyze costs and expenditures, monitor key commercial project KPIs and initiate appropriate corrective actions at an early stage to ensure the efficient use of funds.
* As part of contract change management, you conduct negotiations with clients, consortium partners and suppliers and coordinate project-specific matters with internal departments such as Finance, Legal, Tax, Controlling, HR and Insurance.
* You support global project steering as well as the further development of harmonized commercial processes along the value chain in an international environment.
Your profile
* You hold a degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering, ideally with a focus on project management.
* You have several years of professional experience in commercial project management, preferably in international project business or plant engineering.
* Ideally, you have hands-on experience in contract and claim management as well as in the commercial execution of complex projects.
* You think and act entrepreneurially, take responsibility, and demonstrate strong team and communication skills, as well as confidence in customer interactions.
* You distinguish yourself through a structured and analytical way of working, strong numerical reasoning, and intercultural competence.
* You are willing to travel internationally and have business fluent German and English language skills.
* Proficiency in standard MS Office applications and SAP completes your profile.
