NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called: Transformation of the Karlovy Vary Region 2026+ and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.
The overall objective of this assignment is for a consultant (the “Service Provider”) to carry out a Study on Karlovy Vary region’s economic opportunities and challenges for the transition to a green economy and energy system (the “Project”).
Location: Karlovy Vary Region, Czech Republic.
Duration: The intended start date is October 2025 and the services shall be provided for a period of 9 months from this date.
Key Expert: Project manager (Cat. II):
☝️ Qualifications and skills:
* At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional qualification) in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering; Industrial Economics or Innovation Management; Environmental or Energy Policy.
* Fluency in written and spoken English is required (CEFR C1) (minimum requirement).
* Fluency in written and spoken Czech would be an asset.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong analytical and policy drafting skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
* Ability to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
* Computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Teams).
☝️ General professional experience:
* Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including senior management or advisory role in at least two of the areas presented below:
Industrial transformation;
Clean technology deployment;
Strategic project development.
☝️ Specific professional experience:
* At least 5 years of experience as Team Leader or Project Manager in development and/or investment finance (minimum requirement).
* Experience working with: Public authorities and industry stakeholders; EU-funded projects or international institutions will be considered as an asset.
* Experience working in Czechia will be considered as an asset.
* International experience will be considered as an asset.
* In-depth knowledge of Net-Zero Industry Act (NZIA), proven by at least one project will be considered as an asset.
