WeEngage has partnered with a rapidly scaling energy technology company at the forefront of Europe’s energy transition. Together, we’re seeking a Product Manager with Hardware OR Electronics to take full ownership of next-generation energy control devices - from concept and prototyping through rollout and iteration. Ideally, you bring an understanding of photovoltaics, Batterie, and Wärmepumpe.
In this role, you’ll bridge internal engineering and procurement teams with external manufacturing partners to deliver robust, future-ready solutions that connect the physical and digital layers of a cutting-edge energy platform. You must bring experience of electronics and hardware, and PCBs or Schematics mustn't scare you.
What You’ll Do
* Oversee the end-to-end hardware/electronics product journey - from idea to implementation — ensuring a seamless handoff between design, engineering, and production.
* Identify market trends and customer needs to inform new product ideas and technical innovations.
* Define and manage product roadmaps that support growth and operational scalability.
* Champion exceptional product quality, durability, and manufacturability at every stage.
* Align internal stakeholders and communicate product vision clearly across departments.
* Build strong relationships across teams and with external suppliers to deliver on goals.
* Stay calm, accountable, and decisive in dynamic, high-growth environments.
* Drive progress and creativity that positions your products at the forefront of energy innovation.
Who You Are
You’re curious, technically minded, and motivated by solving real-world energy challenges. You enjoy working on hardware that brings digital intelligence to the physical world, and you take ownership from start to finish.
* Degree in Electrical, Industrial, or Systems Engineering (or related technical field)
* Minimum of 2 years in hardware product development or similar technical role
* You work with hardware and electronics. If you're more SaaS, this isn't for you.
* Experience in product or project coordination within fast-moving environments
* Confident communicator who can align diverse stakeholders
* Independent, organised, and proactive in driving projects forward
* Business-fluent in both English and German
