As Project Manager Electronics, you will lead complex development projects for vehicle electronics (focusing on embedded systems/e-mobility) throughout the entire product lifecycle. You will coordinate global, cross-functional teams (hardware, software, mechanics, systems engineering, testing) and ensure that all objectives regarding scope, schedule, costs, quality, and customer satisfaction are met. You will be the central point of contact for customers, engineering teams, suppliers, and management, and you will control hardware and software development for safety-critical products. In doing so, you will strictly adhere to automotive standards, in particular ASPICE-oriented processes, functional safety up to ASIL C, and cybersecurity requirements.

Your tasks
8. Project management from A to Z: Holistic management and control of complex development projects in the field of automotive electronics from initiation through series development to successful product launch.
9. Team coordination & leadership: Technical leadership and coordination of multidisciplinary, globally distributed engineering teams (hardware, software, mechanics, systems engineering and testing).
10. Process & Security Management: Ensuring compliance with ASPICE-compliant development processes and the implementation of functional safety requirements according to ISO 26262 (up to ASIL C) and automotive cybersecurity standards.
11. Interface function & controlling: First point of contact for customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders as well as the continuous monitoring of project scope, budgets, timelines, risks and quality KPIs.
Your profile
12. Education: Successfully completed studies (Bachelor/Master) in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, computer engineering or a comparable field.
13. Professional experience: More than 8 years of sound experience in managing complex development projects in the automotive industry, ideally in the field of e-mobility (e.g. battery management systems, power electronics).
14. Technical expertise: In-depth understanding of embedded systems (HW/SW), ASPICE-based development environments, and sound knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262 / ASIL C) and cybersecurity (ISO/SAE 21434).
15. Soft Skills & Languages: Strong leadership, negotiation and conflict resolution skills paired with a structured, results-oriented work style and fluent German and English skills.
16. Additional qualification (advantageous): A recognized project management certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA) is desirable.
