Your Job
What this role looks like.
* Continuously improving the product throughout its entire product lifecycle
* Taking ownership of and effectively managing the product backlog, forecasted roadmap and/or release plan
* Maintaining the forecasted product roadmap and/or release plan and communicating transparently with stakeholders (e.g. assigning large features to a timeline)
* Representing the product and any related decisions in all relevant stakeholder and management alignments
* Creating and updating the product vision, goals and strategy based on market and user information in line with the ALDI strategy and respective product organisation
* Conducting collaborative workshops to elaborate on product vision, goals and strategy and keeping these up to date in line with the ALDI strategy
* Creating, aligning, refining and ordering product backlog items and ensuring that the product backlog is transparent, visible and understood by stakeholders and the team
* Collaborating with the product team throughout the development process and in the context of relevant events (e.g. Scrum framework or other agreement)
* Aligning measures with respective stakeholders and the team to ensure high quality (e.g. definition of done, acceptance criteria, testing and deployment approaches, risk management, operational measures)
* Aligning the product budget together with product sponsors and management to ensure it reflects the desired product scope
* Identifying product risks and dependencies to initiate mitigation measures
* Aligning cross-domain and cross-product demands with the responsible Product Owners
* Explaining product decisions to stakeholders, e.g. feature priorities or service level agreements
Your Profile
What you bring with you.
* Theoretical and practical experience and skills as a Product Owner and in product management
* Profound understanding of the supply chain business domain within the product scope (e.g. store replenishment, outbound transportation planning and execution)
* Communication skills to maintain balance between stakeholder needs and the product team
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
* Embodies and promotes agile values and principles
* Entrepreneurial and business development skills
* Understanding of how to build and operate a product
* Professional proficiency in English
