Purpose of the position
Responsibility for the strategic orientation and process design of the procurement of technical components, operating resources and external services. The aim is to secure supply, quality and cost efficiency in the long term by setting up professional tendering and awarding processes, developing resilient supplier structures and implementing sustainable procurement strategies.
Task description
* Strategic Purchasing Planning: Development and Implementation of a Purchasing Strategy, Ready to take up self-initiative
* Process structure and tender management: Conception, introduction and control of standardised purchasing and awarding processes
* Supplier management: Selection, qualification and further development of supplier partnerships with a focus on quality, innovation and risk minimisation
* Manage all procurement activities singlehandedly: Energy, Facilities, and Fleet management. All Direct and Indirect activities
* Framework contract and conditions negotiations: Conducting complex contract and price negotiations on an international level
* Quality & Performance: Ensuring delivery quality, adherence to deadlines and compliance with performance standards, including KPI monitoring
* Cost & Efficiency Programs: Identification and implementation of savings potentials, total cost of ownership analyses and sustainability initiatives
* Interface work: Close cooperation with technology, facility, energy management, controlling and legal department
* Market and risk management: Early detection of procurement risks, bottlenecks and price developments
Qualifications
* Knowledge of relevant legal requirements, e.g. EnSimiMaV, EEG or procurement guidelines
* Process competence: Experience in setting up and optimising purchasing and tendering processes (incl. tendering platforms, procurement guidelines)
* Strategic mindset: Demonstrable success in the development of purchasing strategies and supplier relationship management
* Knowledge of relevant legal requirements (e.g. EnSimiMaV, EEG, public procurement law, internal procurement guidelines)
* Analytical strength, high affinity for numbers and pronounced cost awareness
* Very good negotiation skills, assertiveness and intercultural communication skills.
Entry requirements
* Completed studies in the field of business administration, logistics, industrial engineering or comparable course of study.
* At least 5 years of professional experience in the strategic purchasing of technical components or industrial services – ideally in a corporate or large-scale project environment.
* Experience in managing complex tenders and contract negotiations.
* Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
