KG Organization Gas Services Business Unit Central Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day In this role, the Buyer ensures the efficient execution of operational purchasing activities to support daily business operations. The focus lies on securing goods, materials, and services in line with agreed requirements for price, quality, and on-time delivery while ensuring continuity of supply. Incoming purchase requests from internal customers are processed with a strong focus on defined cycle times, quality standards, and high customer and user satisfaction.
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. End-to-end responsibility for purchase order creation, release, tracking, and expediting to ensure a cost-efficient and demand-driven material supply
2. Responsibility for on-time delivery performance, including proactive risk identification, escalation, and mitigation of supply, delivery, and quality issues
3. Ownership of supplier communication related to orders, delivery commitments, performance topics, and low-threshold commercial negotiations
4. Monitoring, evaluation, and follow-up of supplier delivery and quality performance, including structured escalation to internal stakeholders
5. Responsibility for the accuracy, maintenance, and transparency of supplier master data in relevant systems
6. Contribution to continuous improvement and optimization of purchasing and ordering processes ( MoQ optimization, order bundling)
What You Bring
7. Completed Bachelor’s degree in a technical and/or commercial field, combined with relevant professional experience in operational purchasing and supplier interaction
8. Advanced proficiency in English and expert-level proficiency in German
9. Intercultural mindset with the ability to adapt to country-specific requirements and cultural particularities
10. Proven experience in comparable roles
11. Structured and quality-oriented working approach combined with a strong customer focus
12. Professional communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
