Job Description
About your tasks:
* Own revenue growth for the German marketplace advertising business, with accountability for pipeline quality, conversion, and upsell performance.
* Manage and develop strategic seller accounts, driving incremental advertising investment through consultative sales and active deal management.
* Monitor pipeline health and market performance, identifying risks and opportunities to close revenue gaps.
* Develop insight-led campaign concepts and advertising proposals tailored to seller objectives and German market dynamics.
* Pitch Retail Media solutions, from Sponsored Products to full-funnel placements, translating data and category insights into clear value propositions.
* Build strong business cases for seller-side stakeholders, articulating ROI, business impact, and competitive advantage.
* Partner with Campaign Management, Ad Tech, and Customer Success to ensure effective execution and scalable growth.
* Share seller feedback and market learnings to improve adoption, pitch frameworks, and platform capabilities.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in marketplace, Retail Media, digital advertising, or B2B sales roles with direct revenue responsibility.
* Proven track record in strategic account management, influencing advertising investment decisions, and growing seller or brand partnerships.
* Strong pitching, storytelling, and presentation skills, with solid commercial acumen across pipeline generation, deal conversion, and upsell management.
* Good understanding of marketplace growth dynamics, Retail Media monetization, and sponsored advertising products, ideally within the German market.
* Analytical, structured, and results-oriented, with the ability to turn performance data into commercial recommendations and take full ownership of outcomes.
* Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
