We are looking for a Product Manager (m/f/d) (also as a career changer, provided you have expertise in eddy current technology) for the eddy current testing division to further develop the product portfolio with technical know-how and strategic vision!
In this central position, you will act as the interface between development, sales, and customers. You will analyze market and technology trends, define product strategies, and accompany new developments from the initial idea to market launch. In addition, you will support the sales team with technical expertise and work closely with international partners to develop scalable solutions for demanding testing tasks.

The company's innovative solutions ensure maximum quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness for functionally and safety-critical components, particularly in the wind power, rail, automotive, general mechanical engineering, aviation, and supplier industries.
The company offers testing systems for detecting structural defects and cracks/grinding burn marks using eddy current technology and, most recently, optical reflection analysis. In addition to high-precision testing electronics and testing probes, our client develops and manufactures turnkey testing machines from its own special machine construction facility.
The company was founded in 1982 and quickly became a technology leader in the industry thanks to its innovative testing technologies. The company's development and production facilities are located in Ebermannstadt (Upper Franconia). International sales are based in Switzerland, near Lucerne. With its own sales subsidiaries in the USA and a worldwide network of partners, the company has a very broad international presence.
Reports to Managing Director
Responsibilities
* Interface between customers, sales, and partners, our application, development, marketing, and design departments.
* Direct reporting line to the CEO of the group
* Responsibility for the strategic direction of technical development and the commercial design of the service portfolio
* Design of service promises and utility value calculations for products and services.
* Strong external focus to support marketing, including through international customer visits
* Representing the company in associations and committees at national and international level
* Providing technical and application support to marketing
* Designing the marketing of new AI solutions and other innovations.
Requirements
* Sound technical training and/or qualifying degree.
* Several years of practical experience in non-destructive material testing – both in process control and in the laboratory – with in-depth expertise in eddy current testing (NDT).
* Ideally, certification as ET Level 2 or higher in eddy current testing; knowledge of other testing methods is an advantage.
* Fluent written and spoken English, confident in presentations and negotiations, German optional.
* Willingness to travel internationally.
* Interest and/or experience with commercial issues.
* Strong communication skills.
