Hauptaufgaben
Serves as production controller for operator and organizational type maintenance activities on all kinds of self-propelled and stationary class VII items, at time of receipt, during storage and prior to shipment. Also, workloads and monitors the production of preservation and packing elements of the activity on all other classes of supply, to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity of shop personnel and facilities. Work requests are received in form of Deficiency Correction Requests, record folders, from SAE sections and/or special instructions from Chief, ISB and Senior Production Controller.
During the performance planning phase, items are categorized by generating source, i.e., receiving, shipping, warehousing, storage support, etc., cyclic or other and prioritized IAW current directives, shops supervisors are contacted to coordinate availability of shop space specific materials, parts or tools, and to adjust priorities to new requirement with least interference on ongoing production.
At time of W/O establishment reviews all accompanying paperwork for completeness and clarifies obvious errors with functional areas. Establishes work orders and ensures timely movement of items moved to shops to given priority schedules, and performance standards, types of preservation predetermined, man-hours used for repair, painting and preservation, value of parts and supplies, priority, condition code, various dates generating source etc. If maintenance level or expenditures exceed capability or authorization, initiates and coordinates evacuation of the items to the respective direct- or general support facility, whichever necessary.
Prepares a variety of daily, weekly and monthly reports for internal, as well as external performance control, evaluation and planning purposes. Research for cause and explains deviations from previously established and schedules, plans and program goals. Operates ADP computer equipment utilizes Global Combat Support System – Army (GCSS-Army) and Microsoft Office applications.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience A: Included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.
Erfahrung A: Allgemeine Buerotaetigkeit z. B. Computeranwendung, Buchfuehrung, Inventuren, Telefon- oder Organisationsarbeit oder Kassierertaetigkeit.

Beschäftigungsbedingungen
Es handelt sich um eine unbefristete Vollzeitstelle (38.5 Std./Woche). This is a permanent fulltime position (38.5 hrs./week).
• Falls erforderlich, ist der Arbeitnehmer verpflichtet häufig und regelmässig Dienstreisen innerhalb und ausserhalb Deutschlands durchzuführen und regelmässig Schichtarbeit, Wochenend- und Feiertagsarbeit in erforderlichem Umfang zu leisten. /
If requirement exists, the incumbent of this position is obligated to perform TDY within and outside Germany, shift work, weekend and holiday work.
• Heben und Tragen bis zu 22 kg erforderlich. /
