Area Sales Manager EMEA - Engineered Fabrics - English & German (m/f/d), Home office
Your key responsibilities
* Responsible for the successful market and business development of the company's products and services, primarily in Germany, Benelux and Central Europe
* Maintain and grow profitable sales, forecasts, and identify business opportunities
* Develop the customer base in line with the strategic business plan
* Identify new business and product opportunities
* Manage and support the existing customer base
* Build and strengthen customer relationships and loyalty
* Develop strategic relationships within all functional areas at the customer's site
* Liaise with technicians and production staff at internal and external customers
* Analyze competitors' activities in the market, develop and implement strategies to counteract these activities
Your profile
* Degree in Engineering or comparable university education
* Strong knowledge of the process industry, preferable from the Food, Building or Nonwoven or other related industries
* Several years of experience in the field of technology, sales or technical support in industrial B2B business
* Highly self-motivated and work independently while being a team player
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels
* Good communication and negotiation skills
* Willing to travel domestic and international
* Good written and spoken German and English language skills are required, fluency in French or Dutch would be appreciated
