Project Manager - Software Implementation (Hybrid or Remote) A fast‑growing engineering SaaS company is looking for a highly experienced Project Manager to lead complex software implementation projects for enterprise customers. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of software delivery projects - from installation and configuration to overseeing the development of the application layer needed for customer‑specific workflows. This is a role for someone who thrives on cross‑functional collaboration, bringing together: Delivery teams Customer Success Engineering External customer stakeholders You'll ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with clear communication. You will also manage risk, budget escalations, change requests, and ensure commercial alignment (including extra‑charge situations when appropriate). This position is ideal for a senior project manager coming from a small or mid-size engineering, SaaS, or software company -for example environments similar engineering consultancies, manufucturing SaaS or technical software vendors. Key Responsibilities Lead end‑to‑end implementation and deployment of complex software solutions. Work closely with developers to deliver the required application layer. Manage project timelines, dependencies, and cross-functional communication. Identify risks early and drive resolution with internal and external teams. Oversee project budgets, including escalation and customer-approved scope changes. Ensure excellent customer experience throughout each engagement. Build strong relationships and spend meaningful time with customers (remote or on-site). Contribute to the development of delivery processes and best practices. Requirements senior experience project management in SaaS, PLM, CAD/CAM, industrial software, or similar. Strong track record delivering enterprise-level technical implementations. Strong technical understanding of software deployments (installation, configuration, integration). Comfortable engaging with customers directly and spending time onsite when needed. Fluent German and strong English required. Previous experience in consultancies or professional services is a plus.
