We are looking for you to join our growing team in Karlsruhe as a full-time (40 hours per week) as Senior Production Engineer (m/f/d).
Das erwartet Dich bei uns
* You design, evaluate, and optimize artificial lift systems, including ESP, high-temperature ESP, line-shaft pumps, and other lift technologies, and lead troubleshooting, failure analysis, and life-extension strategies.
* You perform nodal analysis and integrated production system modeling to identify inflow, wellbore, and surface network bottlenecks, optimize drawdown and rates, and support field development and facility design decisions.
* You generate and interpret VLP curves and integrate them with reservoir simulation models and surface network models to deliver consistent, field-wide production forecasts.
* You work closely with Drilling & Completions to ensure completion designs are fully aligned with production objectives, artificial lift requirements, operability, maintainability, and long-term well integrity.
* You own well integrity for production and injection wells, including casing, tubing, packers, corrosion and scaling risks, and the definition and execution of preventive and remedial integrity programs.
* You lead well surveillance and production diagnostics, including rate-vs-drawdown analysis, pressure and temperature monitoring, performance benchmarking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* You support Field Development Plans (FDPs), reserves forecasts, and pressure-support strategies by providing robust production engineering input across subsurface and facilities interfaces.
* You ensure compliance with HSE, integrity, and regulatory requirements, applying production engineering software, analytics, and digital tools to improve reliability, availability, and overall field performance.
Das solltest Du mitbringen
* You bring 10+ years of experience as a Production Engineer / Production Technologist with deep expertise in well integrity management, artificial lift systems, and completion design.
* You have strong hands-on experience with nodal analysis and integrated production modelling tools (e.g., PROSPER, GAP, Pipesim, OLGA or equivalent).
* You offer proven experience in designing and operating artificial lift systems in high-rate, high-temperature, or otherwise challenging fluid environments.
* You add strong value through experience in geothermal developments, and your background in oil & gas production systems with complex lift and integrity challenges is fully transferable.
* You work effectively across reservoir, wells, facilities, HSE, and operations teams to deliver integrated, fit-for-purpose solutions.
* You are fluent in English, with German proficiency as an added advantage.
* You combine deep technical expertise with strong communication skills, enabling you to influence decisions and drive alignment within multidisciplinary teams.
