About the Role A rapidly growing European energy storage developer is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale battery energy storage (BESS) projects across Germany. Initially a project lead role, with strong potential to grow into a team lead position.
Key Responsibilities Lead construction and execution of BESS projects, managing EPC contractors and multi-disciplinary teams Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to high technical standards Oversee planning, risk, HSE, contract management, QA/QC, and stakeholder engagement Represent the company with contractors, grid operators, authorities, and local stakeholders
Requirements 10+ years in infrastructure or energy construction, 7+ years as Project Manager BESS, HV grid, substation, or EPC experience desirable BSc/MSc in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, or related) Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills Fluent German speaking Willingness to travel across Germany
