About the Role We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Area Sales Manager to grow our B2B business across Germany. This is a high‑impact role focused on developing strategic customer relationships with national multi‑store retailers, driving sustainable sales growth, and expanding our presence within lifestyle and premium/luxury footwear retail channels. The successful candidate will bring proven experience of growing sales within the German market, and will thrive in an autonomous, remote‑based role. Key Responsibilities 1. Account Development & Relationship Management Build, manage, and strengthen long‑term partnerships with key lifestyle and professional B2B accounts. Develop effective customer relationships with independent retailers within your region. Identify opportunities to increase distribution, improve sell‑through, and enhance in‑store presence. Deliver compelling product presentations and commercial proposals. 2. New Business Development Identify, target, and open new doors/accounts in your region within lifestyle and premium/luxury retailers. Negotiate commercial terms and secure profitable, sustainable partnerships. Expand brand presence within footwear and adjacent lifestyle categories. 3. Sales Growth & Commercial Performance Drive revenue growth across existing and new accounts. Deliver against annual sales targets and KPIs. Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and retailer performance to identify growth opportunities. Implement seasonal regional sales plans aligned with broader market and international objectives. 4. Forecasting & Reporting Develop accurate sales forecasts in collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders. Provide regular reporting on performance, risks, and opportunities. Deliver actionable market insights to support strategic decision‑making. Maintain CRM and internal systems with up‑to‑date account data. 5. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with the wider German Sales team, marketing, operations, and product teams to ensure successful launches and account execution. Coordinate with UK‑based colleagues and attend periodic meetings in the UK. Support international sales initiatives as required. Candidate Profile Experience & Background Proven track record of growing B2B sales within Germany. Strong experience working with lifestyle, footwear, or premium/luxury retailers, with an established network of contacts. Demonstrated success in opening new accounts and expanding regional distribution. Solid understanding of the local German retail environment. Skills & Competencies Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. Confident presenter with strong relationship‑building abilities. Self‑motivated and comfortable working remotely with autonomy.
