Labyrinth Recruitment is looking for a Software Project Manager Location: Bremen, Germany (with possible remote work possibility) Purpose of the Role As a Software Project Manager, you will report to the Director, Software Management Office (SMO) and be responsible for delivering software priorities as outlined by business stakeholders and client-specific requirements within a set timeline and budget. You will manage projects in an Agile-Scrum software development environment, using project management tools and processes defined by the Software Management Office. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute plans for software projects, including their scope, resources, and deadlines using project estimation techniques. Set and track project milestones, deliverables, and change requests to ensure successful delivery of software projects. Contribute to the software project roadmap in conjunction with the Director, SMO. Manage sprint planning sessions and prioritize the software backlog with the team’s Product Owner and Software Manager. Provide regular progress updates to the Director, SMO. Support external software contracts and partnerships. Help organize the testing and evaluation of software products in various stages of completion. Ensure lessons learned on projects are captured and appropriate actions taken. Some travel may be required. Qualifications and Requirements Educational Background Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Professional Experience Minimum of five years’ experience managing software projects. Project Management Certification or PMP Certification required. Professional Skills/Technical Competencies Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, especially Agile-Scrum. Proficiency with Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint). Experience with large-scale software development (asset). Knowledge of UI/UX design, engineering concepts, or power handling systems is a plus. Familiarity with firmware/software for hardware-constrained environments (asset). Language Skills Excellent English communication skills. German (B1/B2 or conversational level) is an asset. Personal Skills Strong leadership, organization, and decision-making abilities. Excellent attention to detail and multitasking. Self-driven, proactive, adaptable. Strong collaboration and team spirit. Willingness to take ownership. Additional Information Salary: €70,000 – €80,000 per year. Remote role (CET Time Zone ±2 hours).
