Summary: Responsible for the strategic implementation and execution of the Automotive Industry Segment (IS) strategy and the achievement of defined objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
6. Co-develops national strategy for specific targeted Industry Segment customers
7. Manages, coaches and motivates the team (that is, Sales Engineers, Application Engineers, National Key Account Managers) in IS-related knowledge, defining priorities in line with the company processes and corporate strategy
8. Responsible for the achievement of defined objectives (turnover, contribution margin, etc.), establishing necessary measures to achieve objectives and monitoring results
9. Contributes to the preparation and implementation of marketing strategies for the Automotive Industry Segment
10. Manages the pricing and customer conditions in line with the company policies
11. Assigns targets customers to Sales Engineers, IS Specialists, and National Key Account Managers
12. Supports Sales Manager and Management in general providing market inputs and information
13. Responsible for collection of product requirements of the Automotive Industry Segment as an input for Product development
14. Supports and promotes personal development related to the career path of the Sales Engineers and National Key Account Managers.
Experience / Education Preferred:
15. Technical Degree, Master or similar preferable in one of the following disciplines: business engineering, mechanical, electrical or electronic engineering or mechatronics
16. 5 years’ experience in Outside or Inside Sales environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
17. Knowledge of customer and market structure of the automotive Industry Segment
18. Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills.
19. Ability to work within a matrix management organization
20. Significant experience in Sales Engineer Industrial, National Key Account Manager, IS Specialist
21. At least 3 years of management experience
22. Fluent language skills in English.
23. Skills in MS-Office, CRM tools, Share Point required.
