Job Summary
The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for achieving the financial and operational objectives set for West business. This role will partner with the Sales Director for Direct Sales and the respective cross-functional teams in developing and executing the local business strategic and tactical initiatives for business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Responsible for the proactive development of business plans for assigned customers that are fully aligned with the organizational strategy and to feed into the business planning process in a timely and appropriate manner.
2. Achieve sales and revenue targets through identifying opportunities with existing and new accounts. Understand customer needs and voices to uncover additional opportunities within accounts assigned across all products and solutions. Build and leverage on networks and relationships with key customers to expand and growth the West business.
3. Lead in successful delivery of business objectives through high quality planning and execution of tailored key account plans.
4. Execute the market strategy and objectives for West products/solutions.
5. Participate in and drive key external events and meetings. e.g. Client meetings, presentations and roundtable etc.
6. Manage the local sales processes and WEST CRM system and data integrity on WEST CRM. Ensure proper use of Key Account Management tools to build robust relationships with key customers.
7. Be responsible for the accuracy of the monthly and quarterly reports.
8. Manage the mix of cross-functional and cross regional technical resources to optimize the value of accounts and deliver business objectives.
9. Implement the agreed pricing strategy formulated for each customer segment so that West achieves the planned gross margins per customer and per segment.
10. Ensure that clients and distributors keep to their contractual obligations.
11. Other relevant duties and projects as assigned.
12. Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
Education
13. Bachelor's Degree Degree in Science or related discipline required
Work Experience
14. Minimum 8 years relevant work experience in management or supervision of cross functional teams.
15. Prior experience working with similar industry or field is highly advantageous.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
16. Knowledge of rubber/elastomer technology or pharmaceutical/medical device industry would be an added advantage
17. Ability to synergize and drive collaboration between cross functional team members and execute sales growth strategy
18. Driven by passion for customers to make a difference and possess change management experience
19. Possess strong business and financial acumen
20. Disciplined with able to work independently; self-motivated and results-oriented
21. Is resourceful and able to influence and navigate effectively in a matrix environment
22. Matured and able to maintain poise under pressure

24. Ensure high ethical standards are always maintained and full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, industry codes and internal policies and procedures
25. Able to comply with the company’s safety policy at all times
Travel Requirements
30%: Up to 78 business days per year
Physical Requirements
Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

26. Ability to travel at least 30-40% of the time domestically with occasional travels within the region.
Pay Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position in Germany is € 91,400- €116,300. The annual base salary range for this position in Ireland is € 82,900- €105,400. The annual base salary range for this position in France is € 80,100- €102,000. The annual base salary range for this position in Denmark is kr.732,200- kr.931,900. The annual base salary range for this position in the United Kingdom is £74,200 - £94,500. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role. This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment.
