As Category Manager for Primary Market Research & Competitive Insight, youu2019ll be on an exciting mission to shape how Boehringer Ingelheim sources and manages external partners in this critical category. Tasks & responsibilities In your new role you will lead sourcing activities for the Primary Market Research and Competitive Insight category globally, applying strategic thinking, persuasiveness, and assertiveness to drive impactful decisions. You will challenge the status quo and identify opportunities to improve sourcing strategies, convincing senior stakeholders to adopt innovative approaches. As global supplier manager, you will establish and enforce a robust governance framework with our core providers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. You will strengthen relationships with strategic external partners while continuously scanning the market for new players and solutions that align with Boehringer Ingelheim's evolving needs. Furthermore, you will proactively identify and mitigate risks, while exploring innovative service models and technologies to enhance insight generation. You will independently manage high volumes of sourcing requests and lead successful negotiations, ensuring contracts meet business needs and are aligned with internal stakeholders. Also, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cutting-edge sourcing methods that elevate Boehringer Ingelheimu2019s capabilities in speed, cost efficiency, and value creation.
