Job Description As the EU Supply Chain Leader, you will be responsible for driving supply chain efficiency, procurement strategy, inventory management, and master planning across European operations. Working closely with the existing EU leader, directors, and the team in Montreal, you will ensure optimal sourcing, procurement execution, and inventory control to meet operational and customer demands.This is a hands-on role within a small, high-impact team. You will act as a player-coach, balancing strategic oversight with day-to-day execution. You will be directly involved in procurement, supplier negotiations, master planning, and inventory optimization while mentoring and guiding team members to drive operational excellence.You will play a critical role in aligning supply chain planning with business objectives, ensuring seamless procurement processes, improving supplier relationships, and optimizing inventory levels to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Procurement & Sourcing Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize supplier relationships, cost savings, and risk mitigation. Lead supplier negotiations, ensuring best value and long-term reliability in sourcing agreements. Work closely with Montreal to align EU sourcing strategies with global procurement initiatives. Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and delivery expectations. Identify and onboard new suppliers to enhance supply chain flexibility and responsiveness. Inventory & Master Planning Develop and oversee master planning strategies to balance demand forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity. Optimize inventory control processes to ensure sufficient stock levels while minimizing excess and obsolescence. Ensure seamless coordination between procurement, warehousing, and production teams to meet operational targets. Leverage data analytics and forecasting tools to drive continuous improvements in inventory management. Lead efforts to enhance material availability while maintaining cost-effectiveness. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership Act as a key link between the EU leadership team and Montreal, ensuring alignment on supply chain and procurement priorities. Work closely with manufacturing, logistics, and demand planning teams to drive operational efficiencies. Support the implementation of supply chain technology solutions to enhance sourcing, procurement, and inventory tracking. Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Performance Monitoring & Data-Driven Decision Making Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement effectiveness, supplier performance, and inventory health. Analyze supply chain and procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process efficiencies. Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations. Ensure alignment of EU supply chain operations with global performance targets.
